In Term 1 of 2023, we opened our doors to our new facility in Coolangatta. After 5 months of construction, we finally welcomed our new students and staff on the Southern Gold Coast.

MSA Coolangatta is the newest addition to Mastery Schools Australia with 67 students and 26 staff. It was custom-built with 15 breakout rooms and five classrooms, creating a great new space to provide a supportive learning environment for students.

MSA Coolangatta Principal, Matt Cavanough said, “The environment is conducive to learning. Setting a really calm, collected culture, which you can feel. It has an ambience that radiates throughout the building as you step through the door.”

“I think our processes, our structures, our organisation and our people are making MSA Coolangatta great, beyond how beautiful the building and location are,” he said.

Located in The Strand Coolangatta shopping precinct, our new facility opens up to the beautiful Coolangatta beach, making it a stunning location for students to partake in sports by the ocean and activities in the park. What makes MSA Coolangatta unique is its location. MSA Coolangatta opened to ensure Northern New South Wales and South-East Queensland families had the opportunity to access the individualised help MSA provides.
