Mastery Schools Australia offers multiple sponsorship packages for our Mastery – The Path to Success Charity Dinner.

Mastery Schools Australia is a not-for-profit, Science of Learning, Middle School delivering success, confidence and a love of learning for children in Years 4-10 with learning differences.

We believe all students can learn and achieve. At the heart of MSA’s evidence-based, Science of Learning approach lies the concept of mastery-based learning. Unlike traditional systems that focus on arbitrary benchmarks and time constraints, mastery learning emphasises the attainment of proficiency at each student’s individual level. This ensures that no child is left behind or forced to move forward before they are ready, thereby reducing anxiety and promoting a sense of accomplishment.

Our ultimate goal is to build every students’ self-confidence and increase their foundation of literacy and numeracy so they are set up for a brighter future beyond MSA.

The Why

A wide variety of data indicates there are a significant number of middle school students who have disengaged from their current learning environment due to social, emotional, or behavioural difficulties. In addition, data from the Grattan Institute suggests up to 40% of students in Australian schools could be classified as disengaged.

Our emphasis is on exceptional teaching, quality curriculum structured programs, and high expectations of students and staff. We believe this focus will produce exceptional results for our students.

The Impact

From just over 3 years of operation, MSA is now supporting the academic journeys of 768 students across 5 campuses – Cairns, Coolangatta, Southport, Springfield and Varsity. The dedication of our staff, coupled with the unwavering belief and advocacy of our community, has brought us to where we are today. We are endlessly grateful for this community who have seen the transformation in their own child’s lives since taking the leap to enrol in MSA. Together, we have achieved the following results:
