OUR SCHOOL

Mastery Schools Australia is the first dedicated, not-for-profit middle school (Years 4-10) in Queensland and one of very few schools in Australia that focuses exclusively on the needs of students who have fallen behind or are experiencing learning difficulties. A particular focus is on students with dyslexia and reading difficulties and students who have problems learning mathematics.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

At Mastery Schools Australia, we believe all students can learn and achieve. Our school offers evidence-based, structured approaches to support learning and development across a diversity of student needs. We meet students where they are at and ensure they have the proper support and systems to leverage their strengths and potential; and accelerate learning.

CAMPUSES

Varsity Lakes

I am very happy that we made the switch to Mastery Schools [Australia]. As a parent, I love that my kids come home from school enthusiastic and happy. As a neuroscientist, I appreciate that teachers use evidence-based teaching methods. The individualised learning plans for all of my children have supported them to catch up in subjects they needed help with – and to be extended in subjects they excel at. This has meant that my children feel confident, accomplished, and their academic progress is clear. The teachers keep the class environment nurturing, supportive, and friendly – and my children are blossoming.

Parent of Varsity Lakes Student 2021

  • Congratulations to the Year 10 Graduating Class of 2022! 🎓🎉

It is with immense excitement and emotion that we congratulate our first year 10 graduating class of 2022! It was an honour to commend each student and individually award them certificates of achievement, whilst surrounded by beloved family, friends, teachers and staff.

For many of these brave students, the road has not been easy. To them, MSA was the first significant step to take towards reaching the achievements we celebrate today. For MSA, these students hold a very special place in our hearts, as most of these students started with us on our opening day. We wouldn’t have been able to do what we do without them.

To the graduating year 10 class, words will never be able to describe how proud we are of you. We have seen your growth and your determination - not just academically, but also in your sense of confidence and self-worth. And although it is emotional to see you go, we are bursting with excitement and joyful anticipation to see you thrive in this next chapter of your life. Thank you for allowing us the privilege of supporting you and celebrating your wins. You will forever be a part of the MSA family and we will always be here for you! After all "Ohana means family, family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten" - Lilo and Stitch

Congratulations and happy last day of 2022! We wish you all the best and hope to see you soon to celebrate more of your achievements!
