Whilst working closely with our Co-Founders/Managing Director, your key responsibility as a Journalist at MSA will be to write and develop a documentary book, telling the story of the first 2 years of Mastery Schools Australia.

As this role develops, secondary responsibilities may include working closely with the marketing team to produce copywriting for marketing content.

  • Ability to work effectively with other specialists including Marketing, Graphic Designers, Software Developers and Illustrators to create multimedia works
  • Proficient in G-Suite and Microsoft Proficient in editing
  • Attend professional development and training required by the school and actively seek opportunities to increase knowledge, experience and skills held
  • Where appropriate opportunities present, become involved in the life of the school in order to promote community and contribute to objectives of the school, including attendance at staff, teachers and faculty meetings as required, working with volunteers and work experience students, becoming involved in school events
  • Other duties as required by Corporate and Business Development Manager
Mandatory Requirements
  • Currently in 2-3 year of study in an approved Journalism course
  • No adverse findings resulting from criminal history checks (i.e. AFP National Police Check for working with children or no unsuitable findings by the Department National Investigations Unit)
  • Hold a current and valid Working with Children Blue Card
