$25.51 Hourly Rate
Whilst working closely with our Operations Manager, your key responsibilities as a Finance Officer at MSA will be as follows:
- Processing of finance data
- Processing of staff pays
- Invoice Management Receipt/Account Reconciliations
- Weekly billing payment runs
- Assisting with annual budgeting process
- Liaison with external auditors as required
- Other duties as required by Operations Manager
Your Skills
- An understanding of finance processes in schools (desirable)
- Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality in relation to staff, students and families at the school
- Well-developed organisational skills
- Embody excellent concentration, perseverance and dedication
- Able to self-manage and meet deadlines
- Able to develop good working relationships at all levels
- Ability to work effectively with other specialists including HR
- Proficient in G-Suite and Microsoft (including Excel)
- Experience with Xero (desirable)
Mandatory Requirements
- Currently in 2nd or 3rd year of study in an approved Commerce course (including Finance or Accounting)
- No adverse findings resulting from criminal history checks (i.e. AFP National Police Check for working with children or no unsuitable findings by the Department National Investigations Unit)
- Hold a current and valid Working with Children Blue Card
