$25.51 Hourly Rate

Whilst working closely with our Operations Manager, your key responsibilities as a Finance Officer at MSA will be as follows:

  • Processing of finance data
  • Processing of staff pays
  • Invoice Management Receipt/Account Reconciliations
  • Weekly billing payment runs
  • Assisting with annual budgeting process
  • Liaison with external auditors as required
  • Other duties as required by Operations Manager
Your Skills
  • An understanding of finance processes in schools (desirable)
  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality in relation to staff, students and families at the school
  • Well-developed organisational skills
  • Embody excellent concentration, perseverance and dedication
  • Able to self-manage and meet deadlines
  • Able to develop good working relationships at all levels
  • Ability to work effectively with other specialists including HR
  • Proficient in G-Suite and Microsoft (including Excel)
  • Experience with Xero (desirable)
Mandatory Requirements
  • Currently in 2nd or 3rd year of study in an approved Commerce course (including Finance or Accounting)
  • No adverse findings resulting from criminal history checks (i.e. AFP National Police Check for working with children or no unsuitable findings by the Department National Investigations Unit)
  • Hold a current and valid Working with Children Blue Card
